US President Donald Trump wants to have the border between the United States and Mexico guarded by military personnel.

He wants to deploy the military until the construction of the wall on the border between the two countries has been completed. He said that Tuesday in the White House.

“We are going to do things militarily,” he explained. He added that he had already discussed the idea with Jim Mattis, his Minister of Defense, and called the deployment of the army “a big step”.

Trump threatened to veto the new federal budget last month because it did not fully fund the wall. He did not do that in the end and still put a presidential scribble.

Ever since he took office, he promised to send back millions of Mexican illegal immigrants and to work on a wall that would prevent the influx of Mexicans.
