Based on the true story of a current concealment investigation, The Last Full Measure follows Pentagon investigator Scott Huffman (Stan) as he fights the political machine in Washington. He teams up reluctantly with veterans of Operation Abilene to convince Congress to award the Medal of Honor to a courageous Air Force nurse, Pitsenbarger (Irvine), who saves the lives of more than 60 Marines trapped in one of the bloodiest battles of the Vietnam War. .
