Porn actress Stormy Daniels has to pay $300,000 euros to US President Donald Trump because of a case she filed against him for slander. Before that, the court ruled against her last October and now it has been decided that she has to pay compensation.
The American president had originally demanded a much higher amount; the $300,000 euros he now receives covers about three-quarters of the lawyers’ costs incurred. Trump’s legal team is nevertheless satisfied and calls the statement “an absolute victory”.
Michael Avenatti, the lawyer of Daniels, does not like it and says he will appeal against the verdict. “No penny is paid.”
Avenatti also stressed that there is another case from his client against Trump and his former lawyer Michael Cohen, about breaking a confidential agreement that Daniels had signed just before the 2016 presidential election.
