Just a few months before the release of Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi, Mark Hamill aka Luke Skywalker, has entrusted himself with his role and this new aspect.
In a few months, Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi will be released in France. After unveiling the first trailer very much awaited by the fans, it is the turn of Mark Hamill who epitomizes Luke Skywalker since the beginning of the Star Warssaga , to confide on his character and this new part.
Interviewed by Première , the actor returned to the end of episode VII and his brief appearance, without dialogue:
“I told JJ Abrams that the end of the Revival of Force was the introduction of a most elaborate character in the history of cinema. Everyone is talking about Luke for two hours and we only see him two minutes at the end. “
“For this ending scene, JJ Abrams did not really direct me, we just talked about the general tone of the scene. “
Mark Hamill then confides in the finding of his character Luke Skywalker, whom he had not interpreted since The Return of the Jedi :
” I was terrified. People had been so wicked with Prelogy … I was sure Harrison Ford would not. “
“But we had to be all there, otherwise it would have been like joining the Beatles without Ringo. “
