William Shatner has signed a record deal with Heartland Records Nashville. He is working for the country label on a “very special project” which will become more known later this year.
That reports Fox News.
The 86-year-old actor became world famous as Captain Kirk in the Star Trek series. It is not the first time that Shatner is working on a music project; he has already released eight records in his life. The last one, Ponder the Mystery, was in 2013.
The actor’s love for country music has been clear for some time. In recent years he has played several times in clips from country star Brad Paisley.
