YouTube unveils teaser of Cobra Kai, Karate Kid’s sequel
Spread the love

YouTube Red will soon release Cobra Kai, a serial sequel to the famous Karate Kid film saga.

Like Netflix, Amazon, Apple and many others, YouTube also wants its original content. This will go through its YouTube Red subscription streaming service which today unveils a first Cobra Kai  teaser which Google has ripped off last summer. Behind this name lies a series that proposes to continue the saga of Karate Kid films . And with the actors moose Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, so much to do.

A sequel to Karate Kid too old for this bullshit

Their characters Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence have certainly aged and changed in 30 years, but their rivalry always seems the same. In this sequel, it should be about the reopening of the Cobra Kai karate dojo by Lawrence, while LaRusso had to manage his life without the help of his mentor, Mr Miyagi. Between demons of past and present, our two characters will inevitably have to get to the fists and feet in the face.

The first film Karate Kid was released in 1984. It was followed by two other opus still directed by John G. Avildsen and written by Robert Mark Kamen. In 1994 there will be a new album with a new team that will also be a suite, while in 2010 it is a traditional remake with Jackie Chan will be in the game.

The exact release date of Cobra Kai is not known, but his 10 episodes of 30 minutes will arrive this year on YouTube Red. The service, launched at the end of 2015 in the United States, should also become available to us in the year.
