Selma Blair denies that Cameron Diaz stops acting. Blair had helped the rumor himself into the world, but now states that it was a joke.
“Guys, please, I was joking in an interview,” writes Blair on Twitter. “Cameron Diaz has not stopped, and even more news: I stop at this as Cameron Diaz spokesman.”
Blair, who played with Diaz in the film The Sweetest Thing, said in an interview with Metro that Diaz had completely stopped acting. “She does not have to make films anymore,” said 45-year-old Blair. “She has a really nice life, I would not know what would make her return, she is happy.”
The 45-year-old Diaz was last seen in a movie in 2014. In 2015 she married rock musician Benji Madden. She herself never said that she stopped acting.
