Los Angeles prosecutors will not lay charges against Ed Westwick, the star of Gossip Girl who was the subject of allegations of sexual assault by three women.
The announcement was made Friday after the TMZ website reported the decision on the British actor.
Prosecutors explain that in two of the cases, there were no witnesses who could adequately corroborate the plaintiffs’ version. In the third case, the woman did not collaborate with the investigators.
Last November, actress Kristina Cohen accused the actor of having sexually assaulted her in 2014. She claimed to have complained to the police.
At the time, Ed Westwick had denied having a non-consensual sexual relationship with anyone.
His manager did not respond to requests for comment from the Associated Press on Friday.
