After the success of Big Little Lies last year, Nicole Kidman will again make a series for HBO. The actress will also play a leading role again.
Nicole plays in You Should Have Known a therapist who has to come weeks before her first book, has to deal with a drama within her family. It then appears that she herself can not deal with this in the way she always teaches her patients.
The story is based on a book with the same name from 2014 by author Jean Hanff Korelitz.
The new series is made by a part of the team behind Big Little Lies . David E. Kelley is also a writer, showrunner and producer at this show, and the production companies of Kidman and Big Little Lies producer Bruna Papandrea are working with You Should Have Known . A director for the series is still being sought.
