Many stars cooperate with the UN, being ambassadors of the organization in various issues, and last Tuesday they were officially joined by Millie Bobby Brown. The 14-year-old star of the series “Very strange deeds” became the youngest goodwill ambassador of the UN Children’s Fund in the entire history of the organization.
The young actress shared the good news with her followers on Instagram, admitting that she herself, of course, knew about the honorary appointment for a long time – but she hadn’t been allowed to talk about it before.
“For me, this is a dream come true – to become a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF,” says Milli. – It is an incredible honor to join such an impressive list of people who have supported UNICEF all these years. I look forward to the opportunity to meet with as many children and young people as possible, the opportunity to hear their stories and speak on their behalf. ”
Millie Bobby Brown as UNICEF ambassador will raise public awareness about children’s rights and the problems of childhood and youth – such as lack of education, violence and harassment in schools, poverty.
