Duchess Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will travel together for the first time to New York to participate in the Global Citizen Live event, which will be held on the Great Lawn in Central Park in New York.
This will be the first trip for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the birth of their daughter Lilibet Diana last June.
With their participation, the royal couple wants to raise awareness of the importance of anti-covid vaccines reaching all corners of the planet.
According to Hola magazine, in a statement, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said: “We cannot leave anyone behind, we will all benefit, we will all be safer, when everyone, everywhere has equal access to the vaccine. We must pursue the equitable distribution of vaccines, and in that restore faith in our common humanity. The mission could not be more critical and important ”.
The event will be held this coming Saturday, September 25, in which important artists and influential celebrities from around the world will participate.
