Liam Payne and Cheryl, who were parents of son Bear last year, will not be married for the time being.
That’s what the 24-year-old Payne told in an interview with the American radio station Sirius XM.
Son Bear means “more than anything” for the singer. “We are doing very well now,” said Payne, who admitted earlier that his relationship was not about roses. “I do not feel like I have to take that step to feel different about my relationship.”
Yet he does not exclude a marriage either. “We do not need the next step, but that might change in the long run, but it’s not a big deal.”
Payne met the 34-year-old Cheryl in 2010 when he participated in X Factor, where Cheryl was one of the judges. From that British talent show came boyband One Direction, of which Payne was a part. The spark between the singer and the singer passed over six years after their meeting.
