Kendrick Lamar has won the most nominations for a Billboard Music Award. The hip-hopper can win a prize in eight categories.
Lamar, who yesterday a Pulitzer Prize was awarded in the category of Music, was nominated for including best artist and best male artist. In both categories he has competition from Drake, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran.
Taylor Swift has received the most nominations from the female artists. She is the only woman who has the chance to win the award for best artist. In the category of best female artist, the Shake it Off singer will compete against, among others, Cardi B and Camila Cabello.
Drake and Ed Sheeran also have a great chance of winning a Billboard Music Award. Both are nominated six times.
The Billboard Music Awards will be presented on May 20 at a show in Las Vegas.
