Collin Trevorrow, director of Jurassic World movies, also notes this short film, titled Battle at Big-Rock.
We’ll have to wait until at least 2021 to see how the dinosaurs are released into the wild at the finale of Jurassic World: The Fallen Empire, but now you can get a taste of it in a free-to-watch movie and get a movie director.
It was very good for us to get rid of the islands that were slowly becoming bored and to come up with some daring new concept. This seems to be happening in the next installment, as not only some actors, but the whole of humanity will have to face the reptile. While we wait to see the coexistence of people and dinos in the cinema, we can alleviate our curiosity with a short film by Colin Trevorrow, written by Emily Carmichael (Fire Ring: Rebellion).
The short story, Battle at Big Rock, takes place a year after the Fallen Empire, and follows a family camping in Big Rock National Park, but sharing their pleasant little resort with some Triceratops and a well-stocked, predatory Allosaurus. Of course, in the roughly 8-minute movie, we get no more than a brief introduction, but the concept seems very interesting anyway. Also, check out the cast list scenes, which show how the appearance of dinosaurs can transform our daily lives.
Filming of the third episode of Jurassic World is expected to begin again in 2020 with Colin Trevorrow in the director’s chair.
