Julia Roberts is amazed by the reach of the # MeToo revelations and admits that she is grateful that she was never in a similar situation.
“Of course you hear stories about it or do you know people who have suffered from it”
In an interview with Sky News she tells us that she had the “happiness” that she was never sexually harassed. The Pretty Woman star adds that she has heard about it in Hollywood, but that she has never witnessed any misconduct in the film industry.
“Of course you hear stories about it or do you know people who have suffered from it”, she told Sky News at the Prime Video Presents event in London. “I am very fortunate that I have never been in such a situation, but the talk goes on and I think that many things that resulted from it were shocking and the scope of it was really surprising.”
Television
The actress is soon to be seen in the TV series Homecoming, directed by Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot) and makes her first real trip to television. Homecoming, a psychological thriller, is based on the eponymous original podcast series by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg.
