Julia Louis-Dreyfus goes back to work for ‘Veep’ after her breast cancer treatment. The actress has visited a few sessions where the cast members went through scripts for the last season of the series.
A week after her sixth Emmy victory for her role in ‘Veep’, Julia announced in September that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. The recordings for the seventh and last season of the series were therefore postponed indefinitely.
Co-cast member Matt Walsh reports to Entertainment Weekly on Sunday that the recordings will be resumed next summer. The actors have already met a few times in the last month, and Julia was also a few times in the party. “We have seen her again, she is doing well. She has her last chemo on it and is recovering “, says Matt, who says that the prospects for the actress are very good.
The final season of ‘Veep’ will be broadcast in 2019.
