The powerful Hollywood Producers’ Union (PGA) on Monday condemned the exclusion of the fallen film mogul Harvey Weinstein, saying that sexual harassment would no longer be tolerated in his ranks.

“Given the widely described behavior of Mr. Weinstein – with new articles still emerging now – the National Union of Producers Union voted unanimously to proclaim Mr. Weinstein’s lifetime ban,” writes PGA in a statement.

“All allegations of unconditional sex are categorically denied by Mr. Weinstein,” a spokesman for the former Miramax executive said in a statement.

“Mr. Weinstein has started to receive psychological support, he has heard what is being said around him, and he is going another way. Weinstein hopes that, if he makes enough progress, a second chance will be offered to him, “the statement said.

More than 80 women, including stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie have publicly accused the powerful producer became pariah sexual harassment or rape since the publication of surveys of New York Times and the New Yorker ago near a month. Mr. Weinstein denies any non-consensual sex.

On Monday, new accusers in the New York Times described facts dating back to the 1970s, when Mr. Weinstein was still a producer of rock concerts.

He had already been expelled from the Academy of Film Arts and Sciences. The films financed by the production companies he founded with his brother Bob received more than 300 Oscar nominations and 81 statuettes.

He was also removed from his position as co-chair of the Weinstein Company, founded with his brother, and was also dismissed from the board of directors.

Among the most recent charges, Amore’s Hope Exiner claims that Mr. Weinstein raped her in a hotel room in the 1970s and Cynthia Burr forced her to blow her a blowjob in a hallway.

On Saturday, in the New Yorker , actress Annabella Sciorra – nominated for the Emmys Awards for the cult series The Sopranos – accused Weinstein of forcibly entering his apartment and raping her in the 1990s.

Last week, actress Dominique Huett filed a complaint against the producer claiming that in 2010, he forced her to undergo oral sex.

Police in New York, Los Angeles and London have confirmed that they are investigating several allegations against Harvey Weinstein.
