American singer Bruno Mars, known worldwide for his songs “Just the Way You Are” and “Grenada”, will perform on June 16 at the Werchter Boutique, the musical event that opens the festival season. Werchter Boutique is a one-night festival built around a big name. In the past, artists such as Madonna, Prince, Metallica and Muse have performed the show in front of thousands of fans. Last year, Robbie Williams was the headliner.
After writing and producing songs for other artists for several years, Bruno Mars began his solo career in 2010 with EP “It’s Better If You Do not Understand” and his first album “Doo-Wops & Hooligans”, which leads him to a first concert at Rock Werchter in 2011 as well as to a sold-out concert at Forest National.
The following albums “Unorthodox Jukebox”, “Uptown Funk” and “24K Magic” confirmed that this American, born in 1985 in Honolulu, was at least as funky as Prince and Michael Jackson.
The other artists who will be present alongside the singer will be announced soon, according to the organizers.
