An arrest warrant has been issued against actress Rose McGowan for a story of possession of a controlled substance.
The charge is related to a police investigation in which officers examined personal belongings left on a United plane that landed at Washington-Dulles International Airport on January 20. According to the police, articles were tested and determined to be narcotics.
The Washington Airport Authority Police Service was given the mandate on February 1st.
Police say they tried to contact Rose McGowan so she could appear.
Rose McGowan was one of the most vocal opponents of sexual harassment in Hollywood and wrote on Twitter earlier this month that she was raped by a man whose initials are “HW “.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote that the actress had confirmed that she was referring to the fallen producer Harvey Weinstein.
