This documentary is being directed by acclaimed director Jason Hehir. He is known for, among other things, the Emmy award-winning Netflix documentary Michael Jordan: The Last Dance.
This project will be the Spice Girls’ first official TV project since their 2007 reunion documentary for the BBC called Giving You Everything and The Spice Girls Story: Viva Forever! According to Melanie, the director is the right person for this project. She is a big fan of the documentary The Last Dance . “The director and the whole concept of how that was shot and filmed was really, really, really, really good, so we’re going to do our own version with them.”
