No one can replace Hollywood veterans.
Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler and Diane Keaton, for the first time after the immortal classics of The First Wives Club of 1996, reunite on-screen in Family Jewels. Actresses will again play ex-wives, but this time – one man. According to the plot of the film, a large family is going to celebrate the Christmas holidays – children, grandchildren and ex-wives.
The script for the painting belongs to Peter Hoar, who before that was the author of the script for the police comedy Deep Undercover, starring Chris Hemsworth and Tiffany Haddish.
One of the producers of the film, Bradley Fisher from New Republic Pictures, said about the new project:
The chemistry of Diane, Bette and Goldie is innumerable and irresistible, I am very happy to help reunite them on the screen to the joy of their many fans.
Despite the fact that all actresses are already over 70, they remain very popular. Hawn starred in Daughter and Her Mother along with Amy Schumer, and then in The Christmas Chronicles with her husband Kurt Russell. And now he’s getting ready to shoot in Christmas Chronicles 2. Midler starred in the Netflix series Politician and voiced the grandmother of the Addams family in the animated series of the same name. Keaton starred in the films The Book Club and Hamstead.
