The success of Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle will have at least made a happy one: the author Chris Van Allsburg whose novel Jumanji inspired the film of the 90s and his suite released a few weeks ago in cinemas.

According to Deadline , the American writer has just concluded an important deal with 20th Century Fox . Chris Van Allsburg, accompanied by his associates William Teitler, Ted Field and Mike Weber, has signed for the production of various projects adapted from his previous novels.

In addition to Jumanji, two other novels by Chris Van Allsburg have already been adapted to the cinema: The Polar Express in 2004 and Zathura in 2005. For now, no information has leaked on the works that 20th Century Fox intends to carry on large screen. But the choices are not lacking.
