Ryan Gosling plays Neil Armstrong in Damien Chazelle’s new film, First Man. Did her performance convince? 

Finally a first Oscar for Ryan Gosling? For his new film in which he lends his features to the astronaut Neil Armstrong, the actor remade team with Damien Chazelle, the director who offered him the role of Sebastian in La La Land . The two men attacked in First Man in a biopic that traces a momentous year in the life of Neil Armstrong, but also for all humanity: the one where the man walked for the first time on the moon . The film premiered yesterday at the Venice Film Festival and the first critics are unanimous: Ryan Gosling delivers a remarkable performance and the work of Damien Chazelle is great.
