Washington Redskins midfielder Adrian Peterson, who was suspended for a year in the NFL after being accused of child abuse, admitted he sometimes used a belt to hit his son.
In an article on Bleacher Report, Peterson said, “I had to discipline my son and spank him the other day with a belt.”
He also said that he disciplined his children in a variety of ways, including wall squats, sitting or removing their electronic devices.
“There are different ways to discipline my kids. I did not let that change me, “said Peterson in his article.
Peterson was suspended in 2014 after being charged with sexually abusing children for using a switch to spank his 4-year-old son. The result was cuts and bruises all over the boy’s body.
