The fierce year of Britney Spears (37) has left a deep impression on her. That is why she would have decided to hand over an even greater part of her two sons’ custody to her ex-husband Kevin Federline ().
Britney and Kevin have had their guardianship regulations changed, TMZ reports. The former couple first took care of their two sons, Jayden James (12) and Sean Preston (13), half the time, but that has changed. Kevin will now take care of the boys 70% of the time, where Britney will take care of the other days. This way of doing things would have been tried for a year, but will now be officially introduced.
The singer has had a tough year. According to sources, Britney has struggled to find the right dose of medication, which has affected her mental condition. The 37-year-old was admitted to a clinic for that reason, but was soon allowed to go home. In addition, her father became seriously ill, which would not have helped in her downward spiral.
In the meantime, it seems to be going better with Britney. Moreover, it is not the first time that the singer has had a breakdown. In 2007, she went publicly through a deep trough, partly due to the fall of her marriage. After that the blonde managed to make a huge comeback with her music career, but of course she never quite got old again.
