LOS ANGELES – The idea that he is going to perform during the presentation of the Academy Awards is dying for Bradley Cooper. In an interview with Extra, the actor tells that he regularly wondered why he promised to sing during the ceremony.
“I sometimes think to myself: I have to have a death wish”, according to the actor, who especially learned to sing for his role as addicted musician in A Star Is Born, a film he also directed.
Bradley will perform the song Shallow from A Star Is Born with Lady Gaga during the award show. In the film, his character Jackson falls for unknown singer Ally (Gaga). The song, which Gaga wrote with, among others, Mark Ronson, can be heard several times in the film. The song won a Critics’ Choice Award and a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Oscar.
