The American festival Coachella has been moved from the beginning of April to October due to the corona virus outbreak. The festival organization confirms this after rumors went on Monday that the festival will not take place on the original date.
The festival, which includes Travis Scott, Rage Against The Machine and Frank Ocean, is now being organized on the weekend of 9 and 16 October.
It was intended that Coachelle would take place in the weekend of 10 and 17 April. The news follows after other festivals have already been canceled due to the corona virus. For example, it was recently announced that South by Southwest and Ultra Music Festival will not take place.
Various well-known artists have also announced that they will postpone their upcoming shows for the time being. Among them include Pearl Jam and Justin Bieber.
