Harrelson replaces Statham, who quit the project for “creative differences.”
Woody Harrelson has replaced Jason Statham in Kevin Hart’s new fake identity film, The Man From Toronto.
The Briton abandoned action comedy last week (March 6) due to “creative differences” with the heads of studio, according to Deadline, and now the Zombieland star has joined the project of director Patrick Hughes.
Woody will play the world’s deadliest killer, The Man From Toronto, along with Jumanji’s comedian: The Next Level.
Their characters are confused with each other on a rented Airbnb platform in New York, and are forced to join for a mission.
The film, which starts shooting later this month (March 20), is scheduled to premiere in November.
