Sony intends to bring its customers the latest operating system Android. The high end of the brand is obviously targeted.
Sony is pretty effective with regards to updates and shows it today with Oreo. The Japanese manufacturer has announced that its Xperia XZ Premium was running Android 8.0 from Monday, October 23. He keeps his promises since he had left the end of 2017 to deploy the update.
The firm joins Google, who deployed it from last August on its Google Pixel , Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X. The XZ Premium therefore joins the Xperia XZ1 delivered natively with the OS in question. Sony is the second to officially update one of its phones to this operating system.
This is a split deployment, which means that not all owners will have access to it at the same time.
The novelties of Oreo do not jump to the eyes however. They will allow you to take advantage of application shortcuts, better sound quality in Bluetooth (Sony LDAC codec support), notification “points” and even more security.
