Prince William (39) and his wife Kate (40) are moving to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor this summer. They do this to live closer to Queen Elizabeth (96).
The royal couple makes a big sacrifice. The new cottage has only four bedrooms. Exactly what the couple wants: William and Kate don’t want a show house. It is important to them that the house is close to the Queen and a school. The couple will also not receive any live-in staff. The couple’s children, George, Charlotte and Louis will attend a local school in September.
Adelaide Cottage was re-built in 1831 for the wife of King William IV, Queen Adelaide. The house has now been completely renovated, so the Cambridges can move in right away. The cottage is close to St George’s Chapel and Windsor Castle.
