Tom Cruise had a big surprise for visitors to Comic-Con International in San Diego. Film news is often revealed at that fair, and Cruis did have a very big one: the first trailer of the sequel to ‘Top Gun’.
The film will be called ‘Top Gun: Maverick’. He also shared the trailer via Twitter, where he wrote: “Maverick is back.” Cruise’s presence was not planned at Comic-Con, and that only made the surprise bigger. “I thought it was my responsibility to you,” he says to the enthusiastic spectators. The first film dates back to 1986. In this follow-up print, Maverick, the character of Cruise, tries to keep his job as a pilot at the time of new technology that can replace him.
‘Top Gun: Maverick’ would initially end up in the halls this year, but has now been postponed to 2020.
