Mark Wahlberg was paid $ 1.5 million to re-shoot some scenes from All the Money in the World, while Michelle Williams received only $ 1,000.
The actors of the acclaimed Golden Globes film had to shoot some scenes again after Kevin Spacey, previously featured in the feature film Billionaire J. Paul Getty, was charged with sexual misconduct.
Director Ridley Scott confessed that actors and actresses who had to shoot some scenes again were not paid to do it … with the exception of Mark Wahlberg, according to CNBC.
“The new shoot was […] expensive, but not as expensive as you think, because everyone did it for free,” says Scott in an interview.
Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg are represented by the same agency, William Morris Endeavor, but only Wahlberg got a significant compensation for the scenes shot a second time.
In social networks, many celebrities have rebelled against this blatant injustice against Williams, including Jessica Chastain, Amber Tablyn and Diane Kruger.
Michelle Williams was paid 1% of what her male co-star made on her latest film. This is totally unacceptable. https://t.co/xE5ZNqjcrA

Please go see Michelle's performance in All The Money in The World. She's a brilliant Oscar nominated Golden Globe winning actress. She has been in the industry for 20 yrs. She deserves more than 1% of her male costar' s salary. https://t.co/HIniew6lf7
