On a early morning of Saturday, the Los Angeles Fire Department received a call for assistance at 2:35 am, in a residential area located northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found three individuals who had been killed and two more who were injured and required immediate medical attention. The two injured individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Additionally, two more individuals who had also been injured in the shooting, self-reported to a hospital for treatment.
The Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson could not provide any information about the current condition of the individuals who were injured in the shooting.
The authorities have not yet disclosed a motive for the shooting, and it is being investigated as the fourth mass shooting to occur in the state of California in the current month.
