The 45-year-old Shakira, well known for her hit song “Hips Don’t Lie”, is seen dancing away her troubles.
The day after Shakira’s ex-partner Gerard Pique and his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti announced their relationship on Instagram, Shakira posted a mysterious message on her social media.
Shakira wrote “Las mujeres ya no lloran las mujeres bailan merengue!” on her Instagram, which translates to “Women don’t cry anymore, women dance merengue!”
The message that Shakira shared on her social media is a lyric from her new song “BZRP Music Session #53″ which is a collaboration with DJ Bizarrap.
Along with the message, Shakira shared a video of herself dancing to the song.
Shakira and Gerard, 35, announced their separation back in June 2022, after being together for more than 11 years. They share two sons Milan and Sasha.
Many of Shakira’s fans believe that “BZRP Music Session #53″ is about Gerard. Fans can read all of the lyrics of the song here.
