David seems a little lost in the official trailer of Legion Season 2, and this may also be the case for the viewer. Everything is normal, then.
After a first meta teaser, FX and Marvel decided to offer an official trailer for season 2 of the acclaimed Legion series. And if you thought that the return of Noah Hawley’s show ( Fargo ) would be less perched than the first season, it is obviously missed. The video promises indeed a scenario as dense and a realization always as daring and atypical.
A (somewhat) more concrete scenario
Even if there are still some gray areas, those who saw the first episodes last year usually need to understand what to expect in Season 2 of FX’s X-Men show. For others, remember that the plot follows David Haller (Dan Stevens), a man diagnosed as schizophrenic, but who could actually be a mutant with overpowering mental powers.
During his absence after the events of the first season, David will return to his friends and allies but there has obviously been a change. A partnership with Division III has been set up to hunt down the fleeing Shadow King. Still based on comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, Legion’s cast includes Rachel Keller (Syd), Jean Smart (Melanie), Aubrey Plaza (Lenny), Jeremie Harris (Ptonomy), Bill Irwin (Cary), Jemaine Clement (Oliver) or Hamish Linklater (Clark).
