The new paid extension of Middle-earth: The Shadow of War, namely “The Blade of Galadriel”, is out with an important free update based on new additions and various fixes on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Sold alone at 15 euros or available via the Middle East season pass : The Shadow of War at 39.99 euros, the “Galadriel’s Blade” expansion offers players to take control of Eltariel, a Warrior and Elf assassin in the pay of the Queen of Elves, today on PS4, Xbox One and PC. In addition to handling two swords, it also has its own set of equipment as well as new and powerful capabilities. This new DLC for the Shadow of War also allows you to submit legendary orcs with unique abilities, while facing new enemies like Flint and Tinder.

In addition to this paid extension, Monolith Productions also offers a free update (the tenth patch of The Shadow of War) correcting some bugs:
- New behaviors for Orcish captains: including the ability to dig earth and summon Ghul or shoot arrows with tenfold accuracy
- Improved photo mode: new filters, frames, stickers …
- New skin: ability to play Eltariel in the countryside
- Players can now upgrade a killer whale supporter with a training order while in the garrison
- Add a player statistics page (enemies killed, fortresses conquered …)
- Customizing the field of view (FOV)
