Kevin Feigi gave a presentation on the next superhero movie from Marvel Studios.
The fourth phase of the Marvel Cinema Universe is getting closer and closer. The other day, a trailer for Black Widow was presented, but now the first shots from the movie Eternal, which will be released next year, have become available. During his presentation at the Comic Con festival in São Paulo, the head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feigi showed “raw” video material produced during the filming of “Eternal” in the Canary Islands.
At the beginning of the video, Druig performed by Barry Keogan collects several heroes in a forest hut. Among those present – Ikaris (Richard Madden), Tena (Angelina Jolie), Sercy (Gemma Chan), Kingo (Kumeil Nanzhiani), Maccari (Lauren Ridloff) and Sprite (Leah McHugh). Druig tells the team of the Eternal:
Make yourself at home.
Then excerpts from a series of scenes in which the members of the Eternal were featured were shown — they were in different parts of the world. For example, you can see how Tena fights enemies in a battle, and Kingo starred in Bollywood. In addition, there was a hint that a romance was planned between Ikaris and Sercy. At the end of the video, the leader of the Eternal Ajak (Salma Hayek) says:
This world has changed us. We must stand up for him.
2020 is Angelina Jolie’s year. She’s the star in Eternals and I know she will absolutely kill the role of Thena and shut everyone up who were ever against the idea of having her join the mcu universe. ✨ pic.twitter.com/hv6s64twmL— lis (@lisakaysen) December 1, 2019
Not the fact that these materials indicate the plot of the upcoming film, but the witnesses of the presentation were very impressed by what they saw. Collider Editor-in-Chief Stephen Weintraub shared:
This is not like any of the previous Marvel films. Fans of the great Jack Kerby are sure to go crazy.
Feigi also said that the events of the Eternal will span 7 thousand years. In particular, in the film “in all its might”, the cosmic gods Celestialia will be shown. Finally, Marvel boss said that the Deviants, the implacable enemies of the Eternal, will be portrayed “completely differently” than in the corresponding comics.
