The end of the hit series Game of Thrones caused quite a stir, and some actors also had a different ending in mind. Sophie Turner, who played the role of Sansa Stark, hoped for a number of other story-lines.
“But there are so many other ways the story could have ended”
“I thought Arya would kill Cersei. And I would have liked Sansa and Cersei to see each other again, or Arya and Cersei. But there are so many other ways the story could have ended,” Sophie says in conversation with The Wrap. “I am very happy with the end for Sansa.”
The end of Game of Thrones did not satisfy every viewer. Some of the fans were not satisfied with how the series ended. A petition was even started in which HBO was asked to record a different ending.
Sophie is one of nine Game of Thrones actors who has been nominated for an Emmy. That high number was also a surprise for the actress. “I looked at the nomination list and I was overwhelmed that so many of us were nominated.”
