According to reports, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Hollywood star, was driving in Los Angeles and reportedly hit a cyclist. The woman was then taken to the hospital for treatment.
On Sunday morning, local time, reports suggest that Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a car accident that led to a cyclist being taken to the emergency room.
According to sources, the former California governor, 75, hit a woman riding a bicycle who swerved onto his lane in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles police department could not immediately confirm the incident to the New York Post.
However, police sources reported to TMZ that Schwarzenegger does not appear to be at fault, as the unnamed victim could not be avoided in the crash.
According to the report, the star of The Terminator was cooperating with the officers on the scene.
The cyclist was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The report states that Arnold Schwarzenegger, an avid cyclist himself, does not seem to have sustained any injuries. An investigation into the accident is still underway.
Representatives for Schwarzenegger did not immediately respond to the New York Post’s request for comment.
The Austrian-born actor has recently had a string of unfortunate incidents involving motor vehicles.
In January of 2022, Schwarzenegger was involved in a multi-car collision in Brentwood, California.
Schwarzenegger walked away from that crash seemingly uninjured, but another person involved sustained a head injury.
Sources reported at the time that the celebrity was “deeply concerned” about the woman involved in the accident and planned to personally follow up on her condition.
