It is concretized for the Hydrogen One . After being pushed back for some weeks, the holographic smartphone from RED, the professional camera specialist, will be released next November in the United States.
Jim Jannard, CEO of RED, recalled the release of the device through the first official photos of the phone. Indeed, until now, the manufacturer had presented only renders made by computer.
Unfortunately, these shots still do not allow to see the screen of Hydrogen One, designed by LEIA, in action. In holographic mode (4V), the slab of 5.7 inches (2560×1440 in 2D mode) would in any case be able to display an image that gives the impression of floating above the screen.
The latest news is that the smartphone’s data sheet – which can still change – includes a Snapdragon 835 and a 4500 mAh battery.
The Hydrogen One will be launched on November 2nd across the Atlantic, priced at 1295 dollars.
