The concert that Drake would give April 23 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam has been canceled. The two other concerts that the Canadian rapper would give on April 25 and 26, respectively, have been moved to April 15 and 16.
In a reaction to NU.nl, a spokesperson for concert organizer MOJO says he does not know why the rapper canceled and moved his concerts in April.
It is not the first time that Drake has canceled a concert in the Netherlands. In March 2017 the rapper would give a performance in the Ziggo Dome, but he failed because he would be sick.
Previously this performance was already planned on January 20, 2017, but that was already moved to January 26. Even then his show could not take place, after which it was moved to March and canceled again. When Drake caught up with the concert a few days later, thousands of fans stayed away in protest.
The Assassination Vacation Tour
Drake would visit the Netherlands this year as part of his The Assassination Vacation Tour . His fifth studio album Scorpion was released in June last year.
Rapper and singer Tory Lanez provides the Canadian support during the 22 shows.
