Pamela Anderson, the well-known sex symbol, is not intimidated by the idea of aging.
Anderson, who recently appeared on Dax Shepard’s podcast “Armchair Expert”, discussed her views on aging. The 55-year-old Baywatch star explained that despite some “classic beauties” struggling with aging, she has a different perspective.
Anderson stated on the podcast, “I can’t wait to see myself old”. She also shared that she never considered herself a conventional beauty, but instead sees herself as “a little funny looking”.
Anderson has a relaxed approach to aging and has no intention of fighting it. She wants to let her hair turn gray naturally and embrace a more low-maintenance look, stating, “I want to let my hair go kind of natural gray, put my little straw hat on, donโt wear makeup. I mean, thatโs my comfortable kind of state”.
Anderson’s new documentary “Pamela: A Love Story” is now available on Netflix.

Anderson mentioned that as she has aged, she has received more pressure to wear makeup, including from her sons Dylan and Brandon with ex-husband Tommy Lee. They encouraged her to wear makeup during the promotion of her new documentary and memoir “Love, Pamela”.
Despite the push to wear makeup, Anderson joked, “When I was wearing makeup before, everyone told me not to wear makeup. Now Iโm old and kind of just want to let it happen”.
Anderson recently shared similar thoughts during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show. She stated that she never considered herself a great beauty, so she doesn’t worry as much about her looks. This is evident in her documentary, as she’s 56 years old and doesn’t fret over her appearance. She also shared that she gained 25 pounds while writing a book and her body was changing. Her mother even pointed out that she no longer showed her figure. Anderson responded by saying she didn’t think she had a figure to show.
