Olivia Rodrigo

Singer and actress Olivia Rodrigo (19) and the series ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’, in which she plays the lead, have won the most prizes on Saturday during the Kids’ Choice Awards. The 35th awards ceremony from Nickelodeon youth channel took place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

Olivia herself won two statuettes: for favorite female TV star and favorite musical breakthrough. High School Musical: The Musical: The Series won for Favorite Youth Series, and lead actor Joshua Bassett also won the Favorite Male TV Star statuette for his role. Other winners in the television categories included America’s Got Talent, iCarly and SpongeBob SquarePants.

In the musical categories, Billie Eilish won twice, for Favorite Album and Song. Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, BTS, Justin Bieber and Adele also received prizes.

Spider-Man: No Way Home was the big winner in the movies . It won for favorite film and lead actors Tom Holland and Zendaya also went home with a prize.
