Nigerian Legendary Football player Stephen keshi Dies at 54

Ex-Super Eagles Capetian Stephen Keshi Dies at 54. Keshi was Africa’s football legend, best know figure. He was he only African football player who won the Africa Cup of Nations as player and as coach too.
In a statement given be NFF president Amaju Pinnick “This is devastating. We have lost a superhero.”

According to Local African media Stephen Keshi suffered a heart attack. Stephen keshi ws the captain of Nigerian team that won 1994’s Nations cup, and in the same year that narrowly missed out aon a World cup Quarter final.
He was the man behind the Success of Super Eagles. He led them to the 2013 Nations Cup tittle which was played in South Africa.

After the Brazil Tournament Stephen’s contract was not renewed but he returned on match by match deal, although this didn’t end well by not reaching in the finals of 2015’s Nations Cup.
He then served as caretaker coach but after the intervention from the Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan Stephen keshi was reinstated.
