A revenge on Superman Lives.
If Nicolas Cage could never realize his dream of playing Superman in Tim Burton’s aborted movie ( Superman Lives ), the actor will catch up with the feature film Teen Titans GO! . The big-screen adaptation of Cartoon Network’s crazy animated series will be in cinemas on July 27 in the United States and Cage will double the voice of the Man of Steel.
It will be more of a cameo than anything else, since the movie’s heroes will always be Teen Titans (Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg and Beast Boy), who are looking for a Hollywood-known director to adapt their adventures. Wonder Woman and Green Lantern will also make an appearance. Nicolas Cage is an ultimate fan of Superman, to the point of having called his son Kal-El and to have owned an example of Action Comics # 1 (the first appearance of Superman) before reselling it for 2.1 million dollars.
Teen Titans GO! does not have a French release date yet.
