Netflix will make an animated series around Elvis Presley. The streaming service is underway with Agent King , in which the rock ‘n roll artist can be seen as a spy.
This fictional version of Presley also works for the secret service outside of his artist life and helps his country in the capacity of spy by fighting against dark forces, writes The Hollywood Reporter Friday, the day it was exactly 42 years ago that Presley died.

Presley’s ex-wife Priscilla is one of the creators of the series and will also act as executive producer. Mike Arnold, who also contributed to the animation Archer , will write the series.
“When Elvis was young, he always dreamed of being a superhero fighting evil and saving the world,” said Priscilla Presley, who was married to the singer from 1967 to 1973. “In Agent King , he can still do that. We can now show the world an Elvis they didn’t know before.”
Agent King complements the collection of animation series that can already be seen on Netflix, including Big Mouth and BoJack Horseman.
