Neil Patrick Harris has acquired a major role in the fourth part of The Matrix. The actor, best known to the general public from How I with your mother, will be seen alongside Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, who prolong their roles from the first trilogy.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who played Black Mantha in Aquaman, will also play in Matrix 4, reports The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday. It is not yet clear what the fourth part is about or when the recordings take place.
Especially the first part from 1999 counts as an SF classic. The action film tells about a hacker (Keanu Reeves) who finds out that humanity is being exploited by machines. Not only the revolutionary story stood out, but also the iconic effects such as ‘bullit time’, a technique with which the camera rotated around two fighting characters and flying bullets in slow motion.
