London Fashion Week is gaining momentum. A highlight of the second day was the Fashion For Relief fashion show of Naomi Campbell’s charity project.
Naomi Campbell held her first charity show – with the support of celebrity friends and designers – back in 2005. Then the event was organized in support of the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. This time, the supermodel put together a fashion show to help needy children.
Campbell attracted more than 60 models to the fashion show, including Erin O’Connor, Stella Maxwell and Limi Anderson. And the outfits for the catwalk were provided by the famous brands Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Dior, Marc Jacobs and Givenchy. Naomi herself appeared on the podium twice. First, in an extravagant coral outfit with high-waisted trousers and a cape thrown over a naked body. Then – in a spectacular tight-fitting dress with sleeves in feathers.
After the show, a reception was arranged. Naomi met the guests in a transparent black dress. Among the invited were Naomi’s mom Valerie Morris, Pierce Brosnan with her son Paris, Princess Diana’s niece Katie Spencer, Vogue editor Anna Wintour and many others.
