Morgan Freeman (84), Danny DeVito (76), Al Pacino (81) and Helen Mirren (76) have landed roles in Sniff , a crime film about the possible murder of two residents of a luxury senior citizen home.
In the story, two residents die under suspicious circumstances.
Police detective Keys (DeVito) persuades his retired former partner Mulwray (Freeman) to work on the case. The two discover that the community has an underworld run by the characters of Pacino and Mirren.
The film is directed by Taylor Hackford, who previously made An Officer and a Gentleman , The Devil’s Advocate and Ray . According to the director, Sniff will be a film noir, a dark film with archetypal characters.
The producers let Deadline know that they hope that the film can be seen in cinemas at the end of 2022.
