Yesterday, the Fashion Week kicked off in the French capital. To see what the designers have prepared for us for the next spring-summer season, actresses, models and even princesses have flocked to Paris.
Today the new collection was shown by Dior creative director Maria Grazia Curie. The show took place on the territory of the Longchamp Paris Hippodrome, which opened last year after several years of repair work. Especially for display in the main building, a whole forest of plane trees, larch trees and maples was “planted” – a total of 164 trees. “Silent stars”, as they are called in Dior, after the show will not go back to the nurseries, but will become part of the public gardens and parks of Paris as part of the city’s landscaping program.
